Qi Gong – excellent for your Energy Body and general Wellness

I started Qi Gong when I was living in London about 10 years ago. I found it to be a really good workout that is designed to help you not only to tap into your Chi energy, but also to reinvigorate your entire energy field.

I feel there is a lot of work out there on the mind, body and soul but not enough about our energy. I believe it is just as important to maintain your energy body as it is the rest.

Helps with your sensitivity

There are many of you who were either born sensitive or have become increasingly sensitive as you have grown as a person. Any kind of exercise that works on your energy will help you come into balance.

The more you work on your energy body, the more you open and the more you feel. I have been working on mine for years now and I can easily detect where I have imbalances and I usually know what I need to do in order to restore my energy body.

Having said that, there are some techniques out there that I would never try. I prefer to be safe and in control. So Qi Gong works very well for me. But you may have other suggestions or thoughts and that is perfectly fine. We are all individuals!

Why I love this particular workout

I found this video years’ ago and I really like it. I have done followed this sequence personally many times and I always feel great and fully energised afterwards. I will be honest, the first few times I did it, it was challenging but after some practice, now I can work through this whole session very easily.

For me, energy work is better in the mornings

I also found it beneficial to do in the morning because as I am highly energy sensitive. As it activates the energy body, it leaves you feeling uplifted, sharp and happy.

I once made the mistake of doing a session in the evening and then I couldn’t sleep! So something to be aware of if you are like me.

Once I have completed this, I feel invigorated and ready for anything. Straight after, I lie down to reap the benefits of my exercise. I relax and breathe naturally. I feel this is important for me to harness all the goodness. Then I am ready to start my day.

How I feel afterwards

It’s funny because I usually feel quite euphoric after these sessions. That is why I continue them because they make me feel so good.
